Hiya! I’m Celine! (Like Celine Dion but I can’t sing). I’m just a normal uni student who loves to travel, eat and cook :). I try to travel at least once a year during my summer holidays, or at least when I get some time off work/uni. My travel style is quite casual, but not quite backpacking style. I don’t really plan my trips, I let my legs do the work. And majority of the time I travel solo (not because I don’t have friends haha, just personal preference). I’d do some research on the popular spots but I prefer to find places less touristy (and share them with you). I believe holidays should be relaxing and not jam-packed. So most of the time my stories might be focused on the history/background of the place, since I tend to stay in one spot for a long period of time. I also try to write things on what I would want to know before planning my trip to the place I want to visit. Perhaps this was one of the reasons that I started writing travel guides and listing down my experience – What did people do? Why did they do that? Did they like the tour and what was the reason behind that? On my travel blog I try to concise what would be the best/ideal trip for me if I could re-live that trip or where I would definitely revisit again.
I hope that my travel guides/advice will inspire people to travel to somewhere they never heard of, provide some simple, short but essential points that you must know about the places, and hopefully, will at least be of some help.
My personal blog, on the other hand, tends to be more diary-like with some suggestions, but would be what I would think in my head during my trip. They are also more detailed, with specific things that I ate (I eat a lot and I really really enjoy cooking and eating) and their price, respectively. However, go have a read if you’re interested! They don’t update as often as the guides, since they need some digging from the hippocampus and cerebral cortex. (Plus, I can only write them during my spare time). Anyways, I’m happy to answer any questions you have, so please do not hesitate to contact me! 🙂
See ya and Ta for reading 😀 – Cx
